  Foreign Languages on Customer Service, I don't speak Chinese. frustrating. I called to check on my order and got a Chinese message, tried to send online message and it was only in french. ordered 3 weeks ago and i still don't have my package, it took ten days before they even shipped it. no tracking etc etc etc. The worst.

  Go To Source I have had great luck with 1001 Modelkits. They seem to have about everything in stock including items difficult to get in the united states. It takes a little longer to get stuff and shipping can be a little more (I think stuff is often shipped from Europe) but it is worth it if its the only reliable source.

  Haven't Received my order yet. Order was sent to old address. I had thought I had changed it in time to get it sent to my present address. Am working with former landlord to try & track down where the package ended up. Not really a critisism of 1001 modelkits, as much as DSL, who could of done a better job checking who was signing for the package

  A Complaint Not a good transaction ......after two weeks the order had not even exited the 1001 facility, much less being close the being delivered. Four days ago I received a an email telling me it has been shipped and that it would be delivered shortly. (????) I would be receiving another email with a tracking #......nothing yet. This process has been far too long, especially at a the $19.95 shipping cost. Cannot give any +++ whatsoever concerning this transaction.

  Merchandice was ordered and charged to my MC account 22 days ago and there has been no follow up It is stuck in Paris France with no movement I will never order from this company again. I've dealt with many online companies, but never have had to wait this long for my order. I'm not even sure I'll ever get this order and plan to send a letter to Capital One stating that I never received the merchandise ordered and want my money credited to my MC account. I'm afraid I have been ripped off for the first time ordering online.

  Delays in shipment. I ordered things in past and service was good. Recently I placed an order on June 11, 2061. Got an mail stating received order and of course accepted my payment. Got another email saying I should receive order by June 22. Great, but never received the order. Had to send two emails checking on status. After you received the second email it appears that's when my order was processed. Few days later I finally got the order. Not the normal service I was used to.

  Now the 8/08/16. It's a long few days and still no reply to direct emails and no refund. I would advise you to be wary of this company and shop around. I ordered 2 kits on behalf of my son only to find out the next day that I had ordered the wrong kits. I immediately emailed details cancelling my order and asked for a reply confirming this. Ten days later and after quite a few emails done through the website contact us page as instructed I hve heard nothing, The onle email I have had was one stating......Your order is currently being processed. We are waiting for a product currently being brought by one of our providers. You will be notified as soon as your order is sent. Not the best customer service team. I suspect they want my £83.

  Nice Decals I did not know that my order was coming from France, being here in the US and ordering something overseas its a scary undertaking. BUT 1001 delivered, not only did my order come through, but also that everything was there and well.   Horrible Horrible service Purchased a photo etch for F6f2 Hellcat on June 29. No where on the 1001 Model Kit web site was there a clear statement that products would be shipped from France!!. On July 6 received an e mail that product had been shipped and I would receive a postal tracking number as soon as available. Never received the tracking number. I telephoned customer service and got a recorded message in French! Sent another e-mail and got response ""will answer as soon as possible."" It is now July 14, and product not received. I live on the US east coast in New jersey so product should have arrived after eight (8) days intransit, unless mailed by boat. Sent another e-mail with the same standard response ""will answer as soon as possible."" I am in the process of notifying Visa that I will not pay the charges to my account because of non delivery. I never had such a terrible experience with model hobby vendors. You are unable to speak with anyone, and recorded telephone messages are in French. I STRONGLY URGE ANYONE CONSIDERING PURCHASING FROM THIS VENDOR TO REMEMBER THAT THE WAREHOUSE SHIPPING POINT IS IN FRANCE AND THAT THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATIONS FROM THIS VENDOR AS TO THE STATUS OF AN ORDER other than it was shipped. Personally I do not believe this vendor had the product in stock, and never actually shipped this product. If you live in Canada or the USA beware doing business with this vendor. I am resigned to the fact that my money will not be refunded and is lost. WRP Finally on July 18 received merchandise. It had been mailed from France on July 12 and not July 6 as claimed in the vendor's e-mail. The product was ordered on June 29. Had the vendor been honest as to the date of shipment, and answered my e-mail queries, all this time wasting mess could have been avoided. This organization is a mess, never again will I place an order. They are unable to communicate effectively with the customer.

  From order to delivery takes way too long! This is my second order with 1001 Modelkits, and again the time from the confirmation to the actual delivery is unbelievably long. My most recent order was made on June 11 and as of this review (July 6) I still DO NOT HAVE IT! It is just a mask for a canopy on a 1:48 scale plane, and yet it cannot be delivered quicker than one month. That is just way too long. My first order was so long in being shipped and delivered that I actually had to reorder the item through another distributor and got it within a few days. Finally my original order arrived, and now I don't need it any longer. Sorry, but something has to be done about processing and shipping orders much faster.

  Quite good for rare kits I've purchased a couple of kits from this site. Both were very difficult to find elsewhere let alone at sane prices. Generally this site is a bit on the expensive side for common kits, but for rare/older kits they generally are cheaper. However, they do have real sales which bring normal kits down to more reasonable prices. In my few experiences delivery has been around 3 weeks from their French warehouse to Ireland. That's a bit slower than most other European sites. No problems to report...

  Great sevice for hard to find or out of stock items I needed some detail parts for a project and these folks had what I needed at affordable prices. Now keep in mind that your order ships from France so be patent unless you pay for the more expensive shipping option.   Where is my order I ordered a couple of masking sets on August 11, 2016 I received a note on August 12, 2016 that my order was processed and that my payment was received. I have yet to receive any correspondance with a ship date or DHL tracking number. I have since sent 2 more request and no answer. This is not the way to run a business. The sets I ordered were in Stock.

  Great Planes Super Sportster 40 Ordered a Great Planes Super Sportster 40 ARF kit at a good price from 1001 Modelkits and was pleased with the service. The kit took a couple of weeks to arrive but with the free postage and competitive pricing, that was fine. Will order from 1001 Modelkits againg, very pleased with the Great Planes kit!

  Not a UK Company-'1001 Modelkits' I was furious that they gave the impression you were ordering from the UK when I fact they are located in France. After almost a week, I got an email to say ""your order is being processed"" say what?! How hard is it to go pick 2 cans of spray varnish and pack them? After another week my item arrived. Why would I wait 2 weeks for an order from France, when I can buy exactly the same product WITHIN the UK. Misleading.

  What A RIP OFF I paid £26.00 for what I thought was a Supermarine Spitfire T9 two seat trainer with decals model kit, but turns out I paid £26.00 for badly detailed and moulded bits of plastic. I now have to purchase a Supermarine Spitfire MK 9 model kit to obtain the model I thought I was purchasing. They need to make it very clear on the website that you will be paying of OVERPRICED bits of plastic.

  Slow Service Ordered 1 kit and it took 3 weeks to arrive. Email said not is stock, when said I wanted to cancel the kit was suddenly on its way to me. Will not be using again, when I can go elsewhere and get next day delivery.

  Decal order Not happy with the service.....after seeing and paying one price for decals, my invoice for billing showed a higher price of about $4.50 higher than should have been....They said orders will be shipped in about 6-8 days after receving. which was on Aug 17,...its now been over 2 weeks and my order says its still being processed...I have written them twice asking about my order and as of yet no reply..I understand it comes out of France, but there should be some connection here...Customer service is a 617 area code...so NOT HAPPY WITH SERVICE AT ALL!!!!!!

  Slow delivery and poor quality item. Very disappointed. Delivery took 10 days. The paint, Humbrol Polished Steel, was very poor- separated into solid clumps and liquid, despite stirring, and was not fit for purpose. This is really Humbrol's fault but the supplier should ensure it supplies decent products. The definitions for the star ratings seem heavy on 'friction' and 'conduct'. I had no problems in these areas, but the whole experience was still Bad

  Good selection, but poor communications and slow shipping They have a good selection of products, but ""8 to 10 days"" shipping can take over two weeks to process. I've had questions on a couple of orders, and getting any response to those has been hit and miss. I'm still waiting for a response to a question I asked three weeks ago.

  poor I had to chase to find where my purchase was. If you do use them, only use paypal or some other system which allows you to chase them effectively or get your money back. They use Hermes as one of their carriers, difficult to judge where your parcel is as they don't update their system correctly.
