    Totally disapointed Totally disapointed. 24 .o4 order for some decals. Delivery expected 05.05. After me sending a polite message on May the 5th asking about my delivery time update the answer was quite rude saying I will have a refund. No atempts to solve my order. No excuses. I can see the product on the web page still aviable and aparentlly I can do another order. Never again! I hope they will refund. Dont use this company! The public relation stinks.

    Stock Status on website incorrect Placed an order based on it being in stock, after six days I was contacted to say that they no longer have the item. Unfortunately in the time the item is no longer available elsewhere, I wish I used a better company.

    quick to process refund got a refund from this company (based in France, not the UK) due to delays on delivering a birthday present which was ordered 2 weeks in advance of the birthday. To be fair to them they were quick with refund when I complained (hence the three stars). I marked them down a couple of stars as it's still a bit misleading on their website as to where the company is based.

    Terrible service. Bought my items for this store believing it to be UK based. Paid for expedited shipping as well. On the same day I ordered from 1001 I also ordered from an actual UK based company, Kentmodels.co.uk and recieved my order in two days! I even ordered decals off a Japanese based company on ebay and even these have arrived before my order from 1001! This will be my first and last purchase from 1001.

    My item was shipped 8 days ago and I… My item was shipped 8 days ago and I have not received it yet. All I can find out is that it was shipped on the 13th. Now the 21st. I see no way to contact 1001 to ask for help and no way to further track my package . I’m just out $ for the second time on the same item. Different sellers though. Just my luck. All I want are my diff gears.

    Late delivery / no communication Placed my order about a month ago. Immediately received a mail saying order came through and they're working on it. Few days later another mail telling me package is being handled, should be on it's way soon. Since then not a single word of communication, no updates, nothing. Already two weeks late, all I got was a mail giving me a €5,- discount on the next order. How about finishing my current order first? Then we'll see if your ""services"" are required again.

    Very unhappy customer. Take extra money for fast delivery then it does not come in time said. Still not got yet. Check their community section on FB page, lots of people with same complaint. I will not order from here again and suggest no one does. Appear a cowboy operation. I am.appealing through PayPal for a refund.

    Avoid. Unreliable and 0 customer service I have been waiting for 13 days my order. The phone line as been cut off so no way to talk to someone. Once I have contacted them via support on the webpage they finally told me there was an issue with the stock levels, which is understandable but should have been made aware at time or purchase or been contacted directly when prior the expected delivery date. Once they reply via email any response you send back there is no action. I had to contact the 6 times via the support every time going no where. 10 days after the expected delivery date, and after for the 3rd time requesting to cancel the order and refund the money, I receive a new order confirmation email, UNBELIEVABLE. As soon I receive the parcel It will sent back and hoping the 30days money back guarantee is not an other scam. This is not how you treat your customers.

    Excellent A very good experience - I ordered a kit on 17 May with some other items - Received shipment confirmation 18 May. When I was unable to use the link on the website to track the shipment I contacted them by email and received a response within 2 hours giving a link to use - which for reference was trackyourparcel.eu Everything arrived today well packed. There are quite a lot of negative reviews here - I felt I should redress the balance a little !

Sent another mail asking for a refund last week and now they completely ghosted me: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!     Embarrassing Email Tennis Customer Service I saw an item via a Google search, a £280 Gaming Heads statue that is difficult to get hold, I ordered the item from 1001 Models nearly 3 weeks ago now. The item was shown to be in stock and payment was processed though PayPal. There was the added cost of paying with PayPal, which later on checking the order details reads as shipping and handling cost, though shipping was free due to the purchase amount. So I was a happy man as I had tracked the item down after months of searching. Next day I log into the account and see that the Statue is marked as unavailable, weird it was shown as available when I purchased it, payment had been processed and taken via PayPal. Here begins the fun part (not) I sent 3 emails to clarify the situation, I received 2 back 3 days later in French, La demande # Order Query a été close et fusionnée dans cette demande. Dernier commentaire dans la demande # For those of you not fluent in French (Myself included, thank you Google translate) All it said was they had ’closed and merged into this request’. I would not hear back from them until the next day luckily in English to say that they would receive the item within 10 days. Happy days, or so I thought. The following days (now weeks) of email tennis I received an email ‘we juste received your products, and the refund will be available next week. Would you like tyour product .’ Yes, I would like my product, hence why I initially ordered it. Bizarrely they reply ‘We inform you that the refund of your order # was requested on May 26th from our accounting department. This refund will be made through the payment channel as stipulated by French law. We would like to inform you that a refund can be deferred by one month if you are in deferred payment. We insist that this refund will be made within 14 working days.’ So you are not sending it out to me then? How does PayPal instant payment require 14 days to refund? Why do I need to abide by French law when I am a UK customer paying with PayPal? So nearly 3 weeks on and waiting for either a refund or item, I’m confused as to which one.

    Ordered model paint on March 17 Ordered model paint on March 17, order got confirmed a day later and email 2 days later that was processed on March 18. By May 5th still nothing, reply on an email they told that the order was shipped on March 26 and I should ask in 15 days again. By May 20 still nothing and now they went silent on my emails. Asked for refund now through my credit card company. Would not use it again.

    This site masquerades as a UK trader… This site masquerades as a UK trader when it is actually French. Not that I object to them being French. Someone has to be. But I go on line in search of UK traders, and I resent these sort of traps being set. For the time being it does not matter so much in terms of customs tariffs, but from 2021 it presumably will. so caveat emptor. Also, their emails contain links that are not live, and when you do get on their website and enter their given details in the tracking box, it still does not work.

    I do not know what happened but after… I do not know what happened but after reading all the negative reviews, I was full of concerns about my order. completely unnecessarily! everything that I ordered came to me in 4 days from France to the UK and customer service responded to my email very quickly. Only one note to those replying to the email - please write in the language the client writes to you. not everyone knows French. I will definitely buy again.

Order: S4Q0KVYOH Placed on 04-27-2020: April 27th, 2020: I ordered 2 tins of paint, £10.00 each + £5.99 shipping, total £27.97 Today, June 17th 2020: The goods have still not arrived May 30th, 2020: I emailed 1001 Modelkits to enquire about my order of April 27. June 2nd, 2020: They replied to say one of the tins was not in stock. They offered a voucher in lieu of the product, or a different product of my choice (+ or - 5% of the original value). June 4th, 2020: I replied to say I would accept an alternative product priced £7.99 plus a £3 voucher. June 6th, 2020: Having had no reply from them, I re-sent the email of June 4th. June 10th, 2020: Having had no reply to either of my previous emails, I emailed again, asking them to cancel the original order and issue a refund, as I had lost faith in their ability to fulfil the order. June 17th, 2020: A reply – at last! – but it does not acknowledge my emails or refer to any requests from me it simply re-states the fact that the product is unavailable and offers a voucher in lieu (not even the choice of a product as previously). I have tried to ring on numerous occasions, but the phone number does not work. Clearly, in light of the above, I do not want the voucher, or indeed the goods originally ordered (and paid for) on April 27th, as I have now bought them elsewhere. HOW DO I GET MY MONEY BACK?

    Poor Customer Service Thought this was a UK company as it said 1001modelkits.co.uk and it had a UK phone number. Found out after placing order that they are in France. The site does not have live stock details so when you find out the kits you have ordered are unavailable that is when the problem starts. Trying to get your money refunded is very difficult with delay tactics in reply emails. Had to use Paypal dispute process to get my money refunded. Would never use them again, extremely poor customer service. I Do not recommend this seller.

    Item not in stock despite saying it was, slower than expected delivery, no communication. Initial projection of a delivery date almost 3 weeks away from the order was disappointing. When the delivery date came, with no package appearing, I called up to check what had happened only to hear that the item I ordered wasn’t even in stock (it looked it was when I made the order), and they hadn’t told me. Apparently it’s in stock next week so will now be delivered the week after that for an overall FIVE week wait. Not happy. This should have at least been communicated. Should have ordered elsewhere.

    Priority shipping not honoured I ordered a model costing over 120 euros and elected to pay for quicker shipping which guaranteed delivery in 3 days. 10 days later the model arrived and my request to have the shipping costs refunded was refused as they claimed they could not refund postage as the models had already been shipped! If I had known this was a French company I would never have ordered from them.

    Avoid,avoid, avoid !!! This company is beyond shady and I strongly recommend avoiding them! I placed an order with them yesterday and shortly after began seeing the bad reviews so decided to cancel. Well, they do not have anything in place to request a cancellation, you cannot reach them by phone and they ignore the emails requesting a cancellation. These are terrible business practices and I will be sure and warn all of the modeling groups I am in to stay away!

    Worst Supplier I have ever dealt with Possibly the worst supplier I have ever had to deal with & if there was a Zero rating I would give it. Placed an order and after 6 weeks nothing received and very limited communication from 1001. Decided to cancel order and requested a refund that has taken a further 6 weeks for return to me. At no time did 1001 answer what I call a straight question with a straight answer. The so called London phone number is either off or answer machine but then what would you expect when the company is based in FRANCE. So if you intend purchasing from this company be & you experience problems be prepared for a difficult time.

    Model was bought with guaranteed three… Model was bought with guaranteed three to five day delivery for which I paid extra. Model arrived ten days later. As they had failed to deliver on time I requested refund on the extra I had paid for the three to five day delivery. They refused stating that they could not refund postage as the model had already been delivered. This company advertises as being UK based but are based in France which is misrepresentation. Poor customer service. Company then offered me 5% discount on my next purchase after reading this review which they can shove where the sun does not shine.

    I was very upset when UPS sent me an… I was very upset when UPS sent me an email telling me my F-106 model had been delivered and UPS had not been seen on the street I live on. So I start a claim against UPS and the claim was denied because only the shipper can file a claim. On the third evening while I was working on the claim I received a phone call from someone 4 blocks away informing me that they had my shipment. It was addressed to me but had the wrong address on the package. This kind person researched my name and found my address and they were on the to deliver it. I checked the order and my mailing address was correct. Someone at the shippers end entered the wrong address. The model looks great but I will have to find a way to remove the decals and put the set I ordered on. I wish they produce the aircraft model without decals so customers then apply what they want on them.

    Only use Paypal or Credit Card!!!! Wish I had seen reviews before puchase Ordered two items (value approx. 2x £100, Total £200) during Covid -19 (I totally appreciated the order was likely to be delayed). I payed extra for quicker shipping (with everything going on I honestly expected it to be delivered within 7-14 days). All items on the website said “instock” at time of order or I wouldn’t have ordered them. A month later I had no sign of the order and it still said processing on their website. I emailed 1001 on 3 occasions to get an ETA for the order, I was eventually told the second item was “out of stock” (I beleive it was still being displayed as ""in stock"" on their website at that time...), I gave them the opportunity to provide two of the first item instead. That suggestion was ignored and I after I kept pushing they started a new thread to tell me again that the “2nd item was out of stock”. Communication was next to useless, single response to each email thread followed by ghosting after that every time. I gave up and raised a PayPal claim. I warned them after making the claim and suggested the alternative again which they also ignored. I would not recommend and I can’t stress enough to make sure you can claim if they don’t deliver (only buy with PayPal or Creditcard). I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt but it does smell dodgy.

    Great choice of model paints Great choice of model paints. Delivery took a while but I think that's to be expected at the moment with the pandemic. When I contacted them I got a quick response from customer services to apologise and explain the delay was down to one paint being temporarily out of stock. Overall, good service and would use again.

    1001 sucks If there was a zero rating l would use it. I ordered 2 separate decal sheets. One said ships today and the other said ships in 3-6 business days. After 14 days l contacted them and they told me one 1 item was out of stock and they advised they were looking for another supplier. I asked them to send me the one item they had and they refused. I asked them to cancel the order and issue a refund they refused stating their logistics would make that impossible. They also advised that their ""logistician""??? could not perform that function. They are as bad as the Chinese company Goutuin. They advertised and sold merchandise they didn't have and they also reused refund. In closing 1001 Hobby kits sucks and I will never do business with them again and recommend that you don't either.

    Absurdly poor choice of packaging Shipping overseas (from France to the UK) you'd think they would have used more sturdy packaging to protect the goods you've paid for. But no, all I got was a very thin jiffy bag to protect my item, resulting in the cardboard backing being damaged. Very surprising considering the collectable nature of the items they sell.     Unbelievably awful service I was planning on buying various things from there site, but after seeing these reviews I tested it with one item first. I payed for the fastest shipping option and they still took over 2 months. After I finally recieved the package I figured I could order the other things I wanted since the first one checked out (even with ridiculous time). But than a month after my second order I receive an email stating the items were listed at the wrong price , and they removed every single item I purchased from their website. Took them a month to let me know they messed up, AND THE REFUND STILL HASNT GONE THROUGH!!! Forgot to add this part too at first... but also when I asked them a question via email it took 4 days for a response and the answer was just PART OF MY OWN QUESTION COPY PASTED AND SENT BACK TO ME. Even though I was in the states they took the time to respond to me on any questions I had and were able to let me know when my models would be available.     Absolutely terrible service took over… Absolutely terrible service took over 14 days to arrive for items that fitted in a large envelope type package , no updates , it took them 5 days before it was sent from the day of my payment for the order, the worst online shop I have ever used , no way to realistically contact and when I did email no reply after 3 emails , obviously they don’t care about their customers at all ! will not buy from again ever

    I am satisfied and would order again. I have seen some less than complimentary reviews of this company. Yes, they are in France - and that made no impact on my getting delivery of my order. Sure it took a few weeks, but there is the Atlantic Ocean to cross and honestly the supplies I ordered made it over here in reasonable time, the price was right, and I am quite satisfied.

    …Great, fast service. I received your package from France to California, USA in 3 days! Amazing service during this pandemic. My only complaint is that I did not realize the electric racetrack would have European plugs. Guess I missed that info in the product description. A quick run to the drug store to get an adapter solved the problem.

Dear customer, Can you please give us your order reference ? thank you for your response, 1001Hobbies'customer care so after making me wait for 28 days for my refund, and now you am saying l have to wait upto another 30 days becouse you didnt even start my refund when you said you would ..... no you can deal with my bank as l have opened a fraud case against you.
