Avis vérifiéAsked for a utility bill to prove my residence. Who carries a utility bill on holiday with them??? This was not written about in the confirmation email. Told me to return the car clean - ie washed. Never heard of this before either. The tyre pressure monitor started blinking while I had the car - tyres were therefore not properly inflated when I received the car. When I told the employee when I returned the car, he told me the blinking monitor is normal and routine. It is not. Finally, now, 2 weeks after returning the car, the deposit of €900 is still reserved on my credit card, meaning that I do not have full access to my credit availability and my card has been declined. I called my card privider, who referred me back to Rent a Car. It took some arguing with them to even get them to check. When they found I had gone through an online broker, they immediately blamed them.
